  6. MacDater is a small utility for setting the "Created" and "Modified" date on files to today noon, to the current time, or to a user-specified date; it works upon files, folders, and disks. 
  7. It's a fat binary, written in C/C++, and compiled with CodeWarrior 10.

  11.                                         How to use:

  13. • Just drop files, folders and disks on the MacDater finder-icon.
  14.                                               OR ...
  15. • Start MacDater & drop files, folders and disks on its splash-screen.
  16.                                               OR ...
  17. • Start MacDater & select a file with the standard Open file dialog.

  19. The default date-setting method can be set in the preferences dialog, but by holding down either the Option key or the Command key when dropping files on MacDater, the user can switch methods temporarily.

  21. Finally, MacDater stores its preferences inside itself—which means that you can simultaneously avail yourself of two or more copies with differing settings.
